Kwilt Journal SMS Terms & Conditions

Kwilt Labs LLC operates the Kwilt Journal text messaging program. These terms supplement the Kwilt Terms of Service.

Optional story invitations

After you explicitly opt in, Kwilt Journal sends recurring, non-marketing text invitations to capture stories by phone, along with responses to your requests. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Entering a phone number or joining a journal does not subscribe you to texts. See how we collect consent.

Frequency and charges

Message frequency varies with the reminder days and time you choose in the app. You receive an invitation on each selected day, plus replies to your messages and any snoozed invitation you request. Msg & data rates may apply. Your carrier’s messaging and data charges apply.

Requesting a call

Reply YES within 30 minutes of an invitation to request one call. Reply LATER for one more invitation in 30 minutes. No reply means no reminder call.

Stopping messages

Reply STOP to cancel text invitations and scheduled calls. You will receive an opt-out confirmation. Replying START later enables text delivery but does not resume your schedule; review and confirm your reminder settings in the app first. You can also pause reminders in the app.

Delivery and privacy

Delivery and timing depend on your carrier and service availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Read the Kwilt Journal Privacy Policy for information about your phone number, messages and consent records.
